CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that the hotel does not issue refunds under any circumstances. If you have a scheduled reservation and you do not show up, or do not give 7 days' notice, it will be marked as a no-show and cannot be rescheduled. If you give notice within the stipulated time, you can reschedule, but no refund will be issued. A new reservation must be scheduled for a stay within the next 365 days of the initial reservation. If the deadline is met and the reservation is not rescheduled, it will be lost and no refund will be issued. The reservation can be transferred to another person. 

-If for any reason you must cancel your reservation during your stay, we will not refund your money.

PAYMENTS: To confirm a reservation, 50% of the total amount must be paid, and the remaining 50% must be paid at check-in. The remaining 100% of the room rate must be paid before entering the room. We offer different payment methods:

  • Credit card
  • PAY PAL (with 6% surcharge) 

 

ADDITIONAL CHARGES: The prices listed on our channels do not include VAT, which is 19%. This tax must be paid at check-in. Foreign nationals are exempt from paying this tax.

  • Starting August 1, all tourists entering Fuerte Island must pay an entry toll of $10,000 per person. This fee can be paid at the hotel.

 

BOOKING CONDITIONS.

We welcome you to our eco-hotel. To ensure all our guests enjoy a relaxing experience, we have established the following booking conditions:

  • To ensure the rest of each guest, music is not permitted in the guestrooms. However, you can enjoy your music in the common areas, maintaining a personal volume that is respectful of other guests until 10 p.m.
  • Our bar is open from 10 am to 10 pm, offering a varied selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits. If you choose to consume outside beverages, please note that a corkage fee will apply.
  • Committed to protecting the environment, we invite you to bring your own thermos to fill with the drinking water provided at the hotel. We do not sell water bottles in plastic containers or packaged food. Since there is no public waste treatment system on the island, we ask that you avoid bringing unnecessary plastic waste. If you decide to bring any, please remove it at the end of your stay.
  • If you suffer from food allergies to shellfish or wildlife, such as jellyfish, bees, or wasps, it is crucial that you bring the necessary medication, as the island lacks public health and emergency services. We also suggest bringing an effective mosquito repellent.
  • Regarding pets, we accept animals under certain conditions. It's essential that you inform us of your pet's presence at the time of booking, so we can verify that it meets our requirements.
  • Our restaurant offers a daily menu highlighting seasonal local produce from our own garden, ensuring fresh, high-quality options. We also offer vegetarian and vegan options, as well as seafood dishes provided by local fishermen using artisanal fishing practices. We ask all guests to schedule meals in advance, as this allows us to prepare only the necessary food and avoid food waste.
  •   The hotel is not responsible for the loss of valuables or money not kept in the safes available at reception.

  • Guests can check into the hotel before check-in time. During this time, their luggage will be stored at the front desk until room check-in time. 
  • If for any reason the room is returned after check-out time, this may incur additional charges.
